The idea with the music was to begin with ringtones and alert sounds, getting people’s attention and probably irritating them a bit. It sounded like a fun idea, so I put together an app and some music and tried it out in cafe with some student volunteers just before Christmas. A colleague who commutes by ferry was talking about how his fellow passengers would get really annoyed by the sounds from other peoples phones, and how it would be funny to set a bunch of phones to start making a lot of noise, that gradually comes together to form a piece of music. and if this is the case, I'd be quite disappointed.This mobile music project came about as a bit of a joke. Is it possible that the program thinks we're trying to pirate the game because the game keys we have are assigned to the configuration we had when it was first installed? I admittedly don't know much about this stuff, and even less about what the intentions of the Paradox devs are in this case, in fact, I sing the praises of their games to everyone I know that I suspect would love them too. my gpu died this past summer and I had to install a replacement (GeForce RTX 3060) which I've noticed as a recurring theme among many people reporting this issue, that a lot of them had recently changed their machine configuration. I bought the game when it was first available over a year ago, and played it most recently in March. Just a proverbial middle finger to every effort I read about and try to implement. in fact the client won't even start, so there is no crash log.nothing.
*nothing* has resulted in anything but "game failed to launch" from the launcher. I have done a full reinstall twice (including removing directories, etc), verified via Steam *several* times, downloaded & installed C++ (just to be thorough), tried running in compatibility mode, etc etc.
